Policy Overview

The cancellation and modification policies are dictated by the Greek Ministry of Shipping and the individual ferry operators. Ferry Tickets Greece acts as an intermediary, ensuring your requests are processed efficiently according to these regulations.

Deadline: All requests for cancellation or modification must be submitted via email at least **48 hours** (business days) before departure.

Cancellation Refund Table

Refund eligibility depends on when the cancellation is requested relative to the departure time:

*A standard service fee of €5.00 per ticket applies to all cancellations and changes, in addition to any fees charged by the ferry operator.

How to Cancel or Change Your Tickets

Contact Us in Writing
Send an email to our support team stating your Booking Reference Number and contact details. Requests are processed Mon-Fri, 10:00 - 15:00 CET.

Have you printed your tickets?
If you have collected physical tickets from a port agency, they MUST be returned to us before any refund can be processed. You can mail them or bring them to our offices in Piraeus or Chania.

Refund Process
Once approved, refunds are processed within 10 business days to the original credit card used for payment.
Non-Refundable Tickets: Special Offer tickets and "Early Booking" tickets are typically non-cancellable and non-changeable.

Open Date Tickets & Force Majeure

Convert to Open Ticket

Unsure of your new dates? Convert your ticket to **Open Date**. Open tickets are valid for one year from the original travel date. Note that open tickets cannot be refunded later, only replaced with a new date.

Force Majeure (Strikes / Bad Weather)

Cancelled Sailing? If your trip is cancelled due to a strike or prohibition of sailing (bad weather), you are entitled to a **100% full refund** or a change of date without penalty.
