Crete by ferry
Crete is the largest Greek island, with two main ferry ports: Heraklion in the centre and Chania (Souda) in the west. Big overnight ferries leave Piraeus every night with cabins, cars and campers: Heraklion in about 9½–10 hours (from €33 on Blue Star, €44 on Minoan Lines) and Chania in about 9½ hours (from €52.50). Seajets also links Heraklion with Santorini (1 h 40 m) and the Cyclades.
