What does “Selected route is not available” mean?
It usually means: (1) schedules for that date are not published yet, (2) the sailing/class is sold out, or (3) there is no direct connection between the selected ports.
Do you work with all ferry companies in Greece?
We provide booking access for major Greek ferry companies and many international lines, depending on route and availability.
Is ferry ticket availability real-time?
Yes. If the system shows availability for a specific class/seat/cabin, it is available at that moment. If you see “No Availability”, it usually means it is sold out.
Can I book island hopping (multi-leg) ferry tickets?
Yes. You can book one-way tickets per leg and build your island-hopping itinerary by searching each route separately.

How can I book ferry tickets online?
Use the search form, select ports/dates, compare options, fill passenger details, and pay. You receive a confirmation email after successful booking.
How can I book a one-way ferry ticket?
Simply leave the “Return Date” empty or select a one-way option in the search filter.
Is it cheaper to buy a round-trip ferry ticket?
Sometimes. Some ferry companies offer return discounts on specific routes/fare types when booked together, depending on policy and availability.
Can I book and pay a ticket for someone else?
Yes. Just ensure you enter the traveler’s correct details (full name and required ID information) in the passenger fields.
Can I make a group reservation for ferry tickets?
Yes. For group bookings (usually 10+ passengers), contact us for assistance and possible group arrangements, depending on route and company.
Which payment methods are accepted?
Most bookings are completed with card payment. Available methods can vary by route/provider. If you need an alternative, contact us before booking.
Getting Ready to Go
Do I need to confirm my ferry departure time?
Ideally yes. We recommend checking your email and the ferry company updates about 24 hours before departure, as schedules may change.
How early should I arrive at the port?
Without a vehicle: typically 45–60 mins. With a vehicle: typically 60–90 mins (especially in high season).
What is the luggage allowance on Greek ferries?
Luggage policies vary by ferry company. In general, reasonable personal luggage is allowed. For oversized items or special equipment, check the company rules before travel.
I’m travelling with a rental car and I don’t know the plate number yet. What do I enter?
You can enter a placeholder (e.g. “RENTAL”) if the system allows it. Some companies may require the exact plate later. If unsure, contact us before departure.
How can I travel with an alternative fuel vehicle (electric/LPG)?
Safety rules vary by company and vessel. Some companies apply limits and require specific declarations. Check the company rules and contact us if you need help.
What happens if I miss my ferry departure?
If you miss boarding, the ticket may be treated as a no-show depending on fare rules. Contact us immediately to check rebooking options.

What is Web Check-in for ferry tickets?
Web Check-in is the process to generate your boarding pass / e-ticket (when available) before departure. Timing depends on the ferry company.
Where can I find my booking reference (PNR)?
Your booking reference (PNR) is shown in your confirmation email, usually near the top.
I don’t remember my booking reference number (PNR). What should I do?
Check your email inbox and Spam/Junk. If you still can’t find it, contact us with the email and phone number used during booking so we can help locate it.
Can I board the ship without my ticket?
No. You must have a valid ticket/boarding pass (depending on the company). A confirmation email alone is usually not enough.
Can I collect printed ferry tickets from the port?
In many cases yes. Port pickup options depend on the company and route. If e-tickets are available, we recommend using them for convenience.
Do I need ID or passport to travel by ferry in Greece?
Yes. Carry valid identification (ID card or passport). Discount tickets may also require proof at boarding.

When is the cheapest time of year to travel by ferry in Greece?
Shoulder months (typically May, June, September) often have better availability and can be easier for preferred seats/cabins. Prices depend on route and company.
Can I change my ferry ticket dates?

Can I cancel my ferry ticket and get a refund?

My card was charged but I didn’t receive a confirmation email. What should I do?
Important: Check Spam/Junk first. If still not found, contact us immediately. Do not book again until we confirm the booking status.

Where does my pet stay during the ferry trip?
