Travel help
Piraeus, Rafina and Lavrio are three separate departure ports. The useful choice starts with the island route and travel date, then takes account of how you will reach the port.

Use Piraeus route information to check Cyclades connections. Rafina is an option for Andros, Tinos and Mykonos, with some dated seasonal services to other islands. Lavrio serves Kea and Kythnos. Check the route page and the current sailing before choosing a port.
Write down your starting point, the transfer arrangement, the operator’s boarding requirements and the arrival time on the island. Compare those together. A shorter sea crossing can still mean a less convenient journey from where you are staying.
Use the airport’s official port-connection guidance to check the current transport options. Confirm the departure point and operating times with the transport provider. No universal transfer time or fare is reliable for every arrival.
Read the arrival port on the return ticket before arranging airport or hotel transport. Do not assume that returning to the Athens area always means returning to the same port.
Confirm the actual port names on both legs, not just the word Athens. For a same-day flight connection, decide what contingency you need for a delayed flight, traffic or a changed sailing before committing to either ticket.
The one with a suitable dated sailing and a realistic land journey from your starting point. Compare the whole trip rather than selecting by port reputation.
Treat a port change as a new transport and ticket-planning decision. Check whether the existing ticket can be changed under its own terms.
Choose your ports and dates, then continue to Liknoss for the booking results.
